The providers at Health & Heart Natural Medicine are excited to start offering a powerful healing tool for our patients.
Introducing an elegant yet powerful ozone IV treatment to help patients recover faster from chronic illness or infection, and even filter out the ongoing daily toxicants that we are all exposed to. “EBOO” stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation.
It is a gentle ozone IV therapy that is well-tolerated, making it one of the most advanced and effective ways to receive a high dose of ozone and oxygen intravenously.
EBOO is sometimes also referred to as “ozone dialysis”. It involves dual IV access – this means being able to access an IV on both arms at the same time – so that the blood can be filtered out from one arm, treated with the combination of high dose ozone and full spectrum ultraviolet light therapy (if desired), and then returned to the body through the other arm.
EBOO has been shown to be of benefit in the following conditions
- Chronic illness
- Autoimmune conditions (Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Myalgic Encephalomylitis), Multiple Sclerosis)
- Chronic infections (Lyme Disease, toxic mold, hepatitis, cystitis, PAN/PANDAS (chronic strep infections))
- Viral infections (influenza, herpes simplex, mononucleosis/Epstein Barr, pneumonia)
- Non-healing wounds, blood flow or oxygenation issues (Raynaud’s, Peripheral Arterial Disease)
- Part of a cleansing program to help with energy, focus, and anti-aging benefits.
Benefits from EBOO include:
- Boost immune system
- Enhance athletic performance by stimulating oxygen metabolism
- Decrease pain & inflammation
- Recover faster from wounds & surgery
- Inactivate viruses, bacteria, yeast, parasites, fungi, & protozoa
- Increases ATP & NAD production, fortifying the mitochondria
- Improves mental clarity & reduces brain fog
EBOO Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an EBOO treatment take?
A full EBOO treatment takes 1-2 hours depending on your health conditions and veins.
How often can I receive EBOO?
The number of treatments will vary based on the patient’s medical history and goals or objectives for treatment however, we recommend that patient’s with chronic conditions start with once a week treatments for 4-5 sessions. After this, it is highly recommended to do quarterly treatments (similar to how you maintain your cars engine oil) to make sure the blood is optimally filtered or cleaned.
What if I am healthy and looking to optimize my health?
If you are looking for proactive care, we recommend to do quarterly treatments.
How much ozone am I receiving in a treatment?
You are receiving up to 145,000 mcg of ozone per full treatment.
How much of my blood is being treated?
We treat up to 3 liters of blood during a full treatment (the average person has about 5 liters of blood). This is why eating a protein rich meal before and after treatment is crucial to maintain energy for a successful EBOO.
What if I have a physician referral? Do I still need a consultation?
If you are not currently a patient at Health & Heart Natural Medicine and are being referred for EBOO by your existing physician, the EBOO consultation may be scheduled as a shorter appointment, but will still be required to review the risks and benefits and confirm your specific treatment plan. All formal referrals need to be faxed (505-356-1052) to our office for review prior to your consultation.
How much does EBOO cost and what makes your system different than others?
EBOO full treatments start at $1,500, and package options are available for 4 or more, with 10% savings. Our EBOO delivery system utilizes only USA made equipment, ozone resistant materials, filtration, mild and oxygenation. We have seen over treatment with other EBOO treatments which cause no results or worsen outcomes. These approaches are aggressive and can use improper equipment that can increase toxicity. The unique system of treatment we use provides results that are safe and effective to oxygenate your system and remove the “build up”. If you would like to have this service performed in the comfort of your own home, please let our providers know (prices are subject to change based on distance from clinic).
What are contraindications for EBOO eligibility?
EBOO is not the right treatment for everyone. Those with a history of blood coagulation failure, bleeding organs, thrombocytopenia, hemorrhages, recent myocardial infarction, significant G6PD deficiency, acute anemia, leukemia, currently pregnant, allergy to ozone, or currently taking medications with sulfa may not qualify for EBOO.
